Automobile Engineering Department

The Automobile Department aims to cultivate a deep understanding of contemporary computing technologies while equipping students with the practical skills necessary to excel in a rapidly evolving digital world. We emphasize the importance of both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, preparing students to meet the complex challenges in software development, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and emerging computing fields. In Automobile Engg Department, we want the student to get obsessed with modern automobiles as are prevalent in modern world. We want the students to get aware of modern technique like simulation, automobile electronics, global positioning system, engine mapping and engine / chassis management system. We expect from our students to develop the capability about automobile spare parts, beside of through knowledge of motor vehicle act, special purpose vehicle and tractor etc.

In Automobile Engg Department, the students are given demonstration on different equipments available and much emphasis is laid on practical training by taking the students in different workshops at Udhampur and Jammu.
